Planet in Focus Film Festival Opening Night Gala

Fashion Takes Action brought some eco-glam to the Planet in Focus (PiF) Film Festival “Green Carpet” Gala on October 12, 2011. Our Members, Thieves and Bazant Unique Adornments dressed PIF’s Director of Programming, Kathleen Mullen for the Canadian premier of the Revenge of the Electric Car. And FTA member Aime dressed Ziya Tong, Host & Producer of the Discovery Channel's Daily Planet. 

FTA also recruited fashion students to provide some visual art & entertainment during the after party, creating pieces made from sponsors' packaging.  Students from  Ryerson University, George Brown College, and Seneca College created fantastic party dresses from PIF and sponsors Steam Whistle Brewery, LUSH Cosmetics, and Southbrook Vineyards.
