The 2008 Green Gala

The 2008 Green Gala once again featured 10 of Canada's top fashion designers, each working with sustainable fabrics to create three stunning garments.

The Green Gala is Canada's greenest fashion event. Ours is the only LED lit runway, all hair and makeup products used were eco-friendly; the food and beverages served were a combination of local, organic or sustainable; Bullfrog Power provided clean green energy; no bottled water was served; all the cups, plates and napkins were bio-degradable; florals were local or fair trade and organic; and all printing was done on FSC certified paper using eco friendly inks.
